About

Kitchen BFF is a culinary instruction and entertainment company located in downtown Chicago that specializes in basic cooking classes and on-site cooking parties.  Our goal at Kitchen BFF is to help enhance your foodie credentials by offering awesome cooking classes and incredibly fun cooking parties.  Kitchen BFFs are also available for private cooking classes or any other personal cooking events.

Not sure what a Kitchen BFF is? A BFF is a pop culture term that means “Best Friend Forever”.  A Kitchen BFF is a culinary expert dedicated to being your best friend in the kitchen and to teaching you how to cook!

Vicky

Executive Kitchen BFF

Hello there!  I’ve always wanted to share my love of food, cooking and entertaining with others, so Kitchen BFF is my way to make my dreams come true!   I am trained at Le Cordon Bleu , and I have been cooking and entertaining for years.  I’m originally from the Dominican Republic, and I’ve been obsessed with my mother’s delicious recipes since I was a kid.  Some of my goals include someday having my own cooking show and owning an English bulldog.  Most [warm] days you can catch me riding around Chicago on my blue bike named Cricket.  I hope to hear from you soon since I want to be your best friend in the kitchen.  Here’s my email: vicky@kitchenbff.com.

Dorian

Kitchen BFF Finance Guy

What’s up, people? As much as I want to tell you all that I am super-gourmet, culinary master in the kitchen, it’s simply not true. Although I can hold my own in the kitchen beyond boiling water or microwaving, I’m just the “Finance Guy” for Kitchen BFF. My job is to help Executive BFF Vicky maintain her sanity by letting her focus on the creative side of Kitchen BFF rather than dealing with all of the numbers! I am a Jersey Guy that has recently made Chicago my new home. I hold a BS and MBA with a concentration in Accounting from my “Home by the Sea,” Hampton University. My life goals are simple: 1) collect as many passport stamps that one can imagine, and 2) shoot below par at a major golf course! If you are interested in working with Kitchen BFF, please don't hesitate to shoot me an email at dorian@kitchenbff.com.

Tory

Director of Foodie Communications for Kitchen BFF

I'm a small town midwestern girl with a big love of food from all over the world. I grew up with a mother who knows her way around a kitchen and a father who makes the best pizza in St. Louis. After spending time in the great food cities of New York, San Francisco and Chicago, I decided to make my future a culinary adventure and became a student at The Cooking & Hospitality Institute. I love exploring farmers markets, learning about cuisines of every culture and trying new things whenever I can. So, if you have any questions in the kitchen, feel free to contact me at tory@kitchenbff.com or post your questions or comments on the Kitchen BFF blog.
